Overview
Viablestack is an all-in-one sales intelligence platform for enriched market data and AI-driven customer engagement. It provides current market data for potential and existing business, ideas and business models.
Technology Stack
The Problem
Traditional LMS platforms weren't optimized for African markets: slow load times, no offline support, and payment systems that didn't support local currencies. Students were dropping off before even completing registration.
The Approach
I architected a progressive web app with aggressive caching, implemented Paystack for local payments, and built a custom video streaming solution that adapts to network conditions in real-time.
The Solution
A mobile-first platform with offline-capable course content, adaptive video streaming that works on 2G networks, and seamless integration with African payment providers.
Technical Implementation
Built with Next.js App Router for optimal performance, using Server Components for the catalog and Client Components for interactive features. Implemented a custom WebRTC layer for live classes with automatic quality adjustment. PostgreSQL with Prisma for type-safe database operations, Redis for session management and caching.
